Shifts in Board of Directors of Bank TuranAlem and TemirBank
Three executives from BTA and two independent directors have joined the Board of Directors of Temirbank. Murat Yuldashev has been appointed the Chairman. Electing new Board of Directors has been due to the shifts in the shareholder’s structure. The membership of Temirbank Management Board has been reduced from 5 to 3 members, and Ablakhat Kebirov chairs the Board.

Waltz Begins! Vienna Ball in Almaty
On April 14, 2007 the Vienna Ball will take place in Hall of Ceremonies, Almaty. The new bright event which will become annual, as its organizers hope, will be added to the calendar of public and cultural life of Almaty.

First Pound Eurobond Issue in CIS
The Eurobond Issue in British pounds has been taken place for the first time in CIS history of bond issues. TuranAlem Finance B.V. issued bonds with 7.125% annual coupon rate and BTA as underwriter.

Standard and Poor's rating agency upgrades BTA rating forecast from "stable" to "positive"
Standard and Poor's upgraded rating forecast of JSC Bank TuranAlem (BTA) from "stable" to "positive." Meanwhile, BTA credit ratings – "BB" long-term rating and "B" short-term rating – were confirmed.
