Creation of new world-class orchestra
Today at concert hall of Opera and Ballet Theatre the first in Kazakhstan agreement on creation of common brand between commercial bank and social fund was signed. "Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra "TuranAlem" came to life.

Bank TuranAlem presented notebook of latest modification to Neurosurgery Center of Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Head of the Center, Prof. Serik Akshulakov, made a request to BTA to help with the purchase of notebook, necessary for activity of the Center. Everyday the Center organizes scientific and training conferences, meetings and sessions. Everyday the Center conducts clinical analysis of its patients. NCRK actively participates in international symposiums and conferences.

Acquisition of state share of JSC "United Telecommunications Company of Georgia"
Kazakhstan Bank "TuranAlem" confirmed its agreement to credit "Black Sea Telecom Holding B.V." (previously "Route D'Esch Property II B.V.") for acquisition of 90.65% shares of JSC "United Telecommunications Company of Georgia" on the auction on 12 May 2006.

Supporting the idea of "Constellation of Hope" festival
Bank "TuranAlem" sponsored 5th "Constellation of Hope" festival. In 2006 the festival will consist of children’s art exhibition and a concert of "Kazakhstan Kamerata" ensemble. Talented pupils of musical and general schools of the Republic will participate in the event, organized by "Public Education Fund of Nursultan Nazarbayev". The festival will end on 13 May with the concert of young talents and award presentation to laureates in "Kazakhconcert" hall.

Kazakhstan group "A-Studio" performs in Ajaria
Bank "TuranAlem" sponsored the performance of Kazakhstan group "A-Studio" at the central stadium of Batumi. The concert was devoted to anniversary of the revolution in Autonomous Republic of Ajaria. 15 thousand people were present. Members of government, creative intelligentsia and business attended the event.
