The first ever deal, in Central Asia, in Polish zloty (PLN)
29.03.2006 / Press-serviceBank TuranAlem attracted new investment and diversified its investor base. Today, the first ever transaction, in the region, of 5-year 200 million PLN with 6.3% p.a. yield offering, was conducted.
"The deal was announced and priced in one day", - said Roman Solodchenko, Deputy Chairman. "Investor’s interest for this currency was very high. Interest rate of the offering is lower than Bank’s yield rate, which proves high interest to Bank."
Standard Bank and TuranAlem Securities became lead-managers for the loan.
Major takers of the loan are European asset management companies, as well as American off-shore funds and Asian retail banks. The volume of the loan is the largest for non-governmental institutions in Polish Zloty, placed in European markets.
