ABN AMRO launches Kazakhstan’s first true-sale mortgage-backed securitisation
ABN AMRO has closed a USD 150 million mortgage-backed securitisation for BTA Ipoteka, the consumer lending subsidiary of Bank TuranAlem. The transaction is the first true sale* securitisation of mortgage loans that raises international funding backed by consumer assets located in Kazakhstan.

London, February 14, 2006 – Standard&Poor’s conferred counterparty credit rating of BB/Stable/B on JSC ‘Bank TurnaAlem’. Thus Bank’s long-term rating is one notch higher than previous BB-.

Temirtau: Branch office specially for "Mittal Steel Temirtau" employees opened by JSC ‘Bank TuranAlem’
Employees of steel and coal departments of Orken, Nefte-gaztruba, SME Resource, Okjetpes, Karvol divisions will now receive their salaries few days earlier than before, in the first days of every month. Moreover, the Bank plans to transfer salaries in the mornings, rather than evenings.
